Most communities share a quiet reality: people who need to talk to each other wonāt.
Not because the desire isnāt there, but because the space hasnāt been created, until now.
Everyone carries real stories and conversations that havenāt always felt safe to start. We bring an experience that opens the door, so those voices can be seen, heard, and valued.
Magnifying deep conversations with love, at its core, āThe Healing Lensā is a renewed perspective that illuminates our lived experiences through an emotionally conscious lens. Our audiences walk away with a sense of belonging and feeling activated to embrace the moments that test us.
In December 2023, while performing onstage in āA Raisin in the Sun,ā Tammie Denyse felt her worlds collide. Her life, her art, her survivorship, and her role as the Co-Founder of Carrieās TOUCH all asked the same question:
What if someone in the Younger family was diagnosed with breast cancer?
In that moment āThe Healing Lensā was born. Through pressure, in obedience, and in love that never stops giving.
Our audience has something to say, and they get to say it here.
āDinner with the Youngersā is not a show you simply watch, it is one you step into. Itās an immersive experience where art and dialogue meet in real time. The audience becomes the driving force, shaping the healing in the room as we build toward something raw, human, and deeply needed.
By reframing classics like āA Raisin in the Sun,ā audiences encounter complex, imperfect people and are invited to meet them with empathy. Guided by āThe Healing Lens,ā the experience creates space for honest reflection and empowers people to face the hard conversations in their own lives.
