Most communities share a quiet reality: people who need to talk to each other won’t.

Not because the desire isn’t there, but because the space hasn’t been created, until now.

Everyone carries real stories and conversations that haven’t always felt safe to start. We bring an experience that opens the door, so those voices can be seen, heard, and valued.

Magnifying deep conversations with love, at its core, “The Healing Lens” is a renewed perspective that illuminates our lived experiences through an emotionally conscious lens. Our audiences walk away with a sense of belonging and feeling activated to embrace the moments that test us.

In December 2023, while performing onstage in “A Raisin in the Sun,” Tammie Denyse felt her worlds collide. Her life, her art, her survivorship, and her role as the Co-Founder of Carrie’s TOUCH all asked the same question:

The Healing Lens Journey

What if someone in the Younger family was diagnosed with breast cancer?

In that moment “The Healing Lens” was born. Through pressure, in obedience, and in love that never stops giving.

Our audience has something to say, and they get to say it here.

“Dinner with the Youngers” is not a show you simply watch, it is one you step into. It’s an immersive experience where art and dialogue meet in real time. The audience becomes the driving force, shaping the healing in the room as we build toward something raw, human, and deeply needed.

By reframing classics like “A Raisin in the Sun,” audiences encounter complex, imperfect people and are invited to meet them with empathy. Guided by “The Healing Lens,” the experience creates space for honest reflection and empowers people to face the hard conversations in their own lives.
